As you can see on the map, the red line is how we used to ship items. it was very dangerous because in order to send anything, you would have to go around Argentina. There would be the risk of storms, the items going overboard, and having somebody go overboard.

On this map, the blue line is how we ship currently. People use the Panama Canal all the time. The way through the Panama Canal is safer because it is shorter, which limits time for accidents. Also, it saves money and solves problems faster.you dont have to waste your money on a ship that can sail for weeks.
